We are well served by 4 Airports in the region with Tours and Poitiers
both under an hour away, while La Rochelle and Limoges are between 2
and 2 1/2 hours away and are all served by the budget airlines.
We are about 45 minutes
drive south of Tours and about 20 minutes south-west of Loches, with Le
Grand Pressigny being our nearest town about a 10 minute drive away.
The
small village of Le Petit Pressigny is about 2 miles away, which has a
bakery, butcher, post office and certainly one of the best restaurants
in the area.
River swimming and tennis are available in Le Grand Pressigny,
and golf at La Roche Possay, there is also canoeing and kayaking in the
many rivers close by.
The whole area is pleasant walking and cycling country,
with many infrequently used bridle paths (parish lanes).
